Bloomfield Hills Lacrosse Club provides the opportunity for members to list for resale, "hand down", buy and/or claim, used lacrosse equipment.

Guidelines for Listing

1. All equipment must 5 years or less from date of NEW purchase.
2. NOCSAE Certification: Helmets must comply with NOCSAE lacrosse standards, including ND041 and ND045.  (See "player equipment" to right for label.)
3. Labeling: Helmets must be labeled as meeting the standard as certified by the manufacturer or the Safety Equipment Institute (SEI).  (See "player equipment" to right for label.)
4. Helmet Condition: Helmets cannot be modified with after-market, non-certified additions, as this voids the NOCSAE certification.
5. NOCSAE ND200 Standard: Shoulder pads must be designed for lacrosse and specifically meet the ND200 performance standard. (See "player equipment" to right for label.)
6. SEI Certification Mark: All shoulder pads and goalie chest protectors must contain the NOCSAE logo and the Safety Equipment Institute (SEI) certification mark. (See "player equipment" to right for label.)
7. Gloves must be completely covered with material on the palm side of the glove and on the fingers.
8. All sticks and heads must be in playing condition.  Sticks should be straight and free of "dents".  Mesh must be completely attached to head, unless otherwise noted.  Heads should be free of any cracks, breaks or other damage.
9. BHLC is not responsible for member to member equipment condition or certification.

How to Sell or "Hand Down" and Buy or Claim

1. Transactions are between seller and buyer.  BHLC does not take responsibility, or makes no claim, for any member to member listing or any part of a member transaction including condition of equipment and payment.  All sales are final unless otherwise agreed upon by seller and buyer.  BHLC makes no claim to any terms of sale.
2. BHLC is responsible for transaction, including condition, of "BHLC Inventory".
3. Seller, please include a photo, brief description and a cell # to text (recommended) of your equipment in the inventory spreadsheet under the tab "BHLC Swap-Hand Down".  Note that equipment being handed down should have an NC in the section for price.
4. Buyer, please use contact information listed on the sheet as the means to communicate with seller.
5. No equipment should be listed on the "BHLC Inventory" tab.  This is for BHLC use only.
